I am trying to put together a Report or Query that will list all the software on the workstations under Add or Remove.
There is a report that comes with SCCM 2012 called 'Count all instances of software registered with Add or Remove Programs' This does the job, but it lists for all of MS office applications. Rather then just Office 2010 SP1. This report bring up over 115k for Office 2010. So I am assuming it picked up Word, PowerPoint etc.Just want a report that will show me the count of how many people are using Office 2010, and other application out in the field with the correct name of the applications.
I am not quiet up to par in creating queries as of yet, work in progress. As anyone come up a report that does something like this.
Just tried the report called 'Count all inventoried products and versions' ProductName says 'Microsoft Windows Operating System' 12.0.7600.16385 count 5771.

Normally I use the out of the box reports, but I've been asked to create a report that lists the software on all systems. Where I could input the software I am looking for. This process can of course be modified to query for any software listed in the Applications area of Resource Explorer.

Do you want to get a list back of all of the software installed on a specific computer?
If so, this query should work.
You'll need to setup a variable for @SystemName0 in your report.

Torrent mi 5 saison 1. The following SCCM collection query can be used to list all computers with a particular application and version installed, in this example Java version 6 update 21.
You could use this custom collection list to deploy an update or software package only if they already have another application installed. For example, deploy a Java update only if a version of Acrobat Reader 9.x is already installed.
To use the query you will need to create a new collection and add as a Membership Query Rule.
How to create a new collection in SCCM
Setup Software Updates Sccm 2012
- With the Configuration manager Console window open
- Right-click the ‘Collections’ node and select ‘New Collection’
- Enter in an appropriate name for the collection, for example “Workstations with Office 2010 SP1”
- Click ‘Next’
- Click on the ‘Query Rule’icon (it looks like a yellow cylinder)
- Enter an appropriate name for the query and limit to your workstation collection (if required – but NOT suggested for the Apple Mac Systems query!)
- Click on the ‘Edit Query Statement’ button
- Select the ‘Show Query Language’ button
- Delete any text already in the ‘Query Statement’ box and copy and paste the query above into the box
- Click ‘OK’ and then ‘OK’ to return to the New Collection Wizard
- Click ‘Next’,‘Next’,‘Next’and then ‘Finish’
- You may need to refresh the collection before you’re able to see the clients listed, this is done by right-clicking on the new collection and selecting ‘Update Collection Membership’
